Safety
An integrated clamp grips the rack cross-member to hold top-heavy racks stable, a locking deck with crate-locating pins aligns the load during decrating, and an emergency stop halts the unit immediately, protecting both the two-person crew and a rack full of high-value hardware.
Speed to Deployment
A 60 inch push/pull carriage and sloped loading edge make decrating and placing GPU/AI and standard racks precise and repeatable, and lithium-ion opportunity charging holds through deployment and migration windows.
Uptime
Standard and turtle (reduced-speed) modes give controlled, predictable placement when seating racks in live rooms, reducing the risk of a misstep around energized equipment, and charge stays visible on the display.
Productivity
One tiller runs drive, speed, and deck lift while a pendant works carriage, clamp, and tilt, so a two-person team places fully loaded racks up to 48U, freeing the rest of the crew to keep installing.
Security
A controlled two-person move keeps exposure of high-value racks to a minimum during decrating and seating. With the optional BallyQ Telematics add-on, fleet managers can control operator access, monitor utilization, and locate equipment across facilities.
Customization
Ballymore has an in-house team capable of designing a fleet of material handling or vertical access equipment around your specific needs, whether adapted from this product or built fully custom.
Where It Works
Dock to Floor
Dock to Floor
Rack arrives at the loading dock, gets unpacked from the shipping crate, and loads directly onto the Rack Mover. One trip from the dock door to the data hall floor. and when it's time to decommission, the same process runs in reverse. No separate equipment needed for either direction.
Live Hall Moves
Live Hall Moves
Move populated server racks within a live data center or colocation facility without a maintenance window. Turtle mode handles tight hot and cold aisle clearances, and the compact footprint lets operators work between active rows without disrupting adjacent equipment or cable management.
High-Density and AI Infrastructure
High-Density and AI Infrastructure
GPU servers and liquid-cooled racks regularly exceed 3,000 lbs. The Rack Mover's 7,500 lb capacity handles them without modification. On a large-scale AI fit-out, two operators per rack instead of six adds up fast. fewer people, faster installs, and less manual handling risk on the most expensive hardware on the floor.
